Our House!

Yep. We're buying this cute little house. Actually, it's quite large, but it is also very, very cute. I'm in love.

This is one of my favorite parts of the house... the gourmet kitchen! I cannot WAIT to get in there and cook!

Our fantastic yard... lots of room for the Munchkins to roam!

Sophie is 10 months old now and boy has she ever had a busy last month! At 9 and a half months she got her first top tooth, on the front left, and a week later got the other top front tooth, on the right. Now she enjoys biting things with her new, tiny, pearly whites, including, but not limited to... veggie straws, crackers, green beans, carrots, pieces of cheese, and mommy. :)
At about 9 and a half months, Sophie started crawling in earnest! She get up on her knees and crawls around pretty quickly now, but if she REALLY wants to get somewhere fast (like chasing sister, or racing to grab a toy that Chloe has left down low) she does a funny little army style crawl where she pulls herself along on her tummy with both arms while pushing with both feet. She is quick!
Sophie also has mastered crawling over things and enjoys climbing up and over anything or anyone that happens to be in her way. She can get herself back up to a sitting position after crawling and she also has begun pulling herself up on things. The other night, after hearing her talk to herself for a while she started to cry pretty hard. When we went in to check on her, she was hanging on for dear life to the rail of her crib with just her chin over the top, unsure how to get herself back down.
Sophie is finding her voice more each day. Babbling and singing "La la la la!" has significantly increased and she will put her arms up and laugh when you say 'So big!'. Sophie has also has started saying 'la-loo' and nuzzling my neck often after I say 'love you' and kiss her. LOVE IT!

Chloe May- 3 Years Old!

I am 3 years old today! I love being a big girl! I am starting Rainbows class on Wednesday nights at church next week and looking forward to earning little badges to put on my official Rainbow vest. Daddy gets to be my teacher and my friends are coming too! On Wednsday mornings I get to go to ballet class and I love dancing with my friends and practicing at home every day.

Chloe chose this picture as her favorite because, "I really have a princess smile!"

I like to 'do school' with Mommy and work on little worksheets and flashcards. I am learning to color in the lines and trace things. I am really good at pretending; I like to play with my dolls and animals and make them have adventures with me. I also like to read books for an hour at a time!

Chloe- 3 years, Sophie- 10 months

I love my Sophie so much and like to feed her puffs, make her laugh, and hold her hand the car. I love my family; snuggling, reading books together, and giving and getting lots hugs and kisses.

Typical Chloe smile... love those twinkling eyes!

I still take naps most days and am learning to try new foods at dinner, I can almost ride my tricycle all by myself, I love to help Mommy cook, and I help Daddy fix things around the house with my little toolbox.
The other day, Daddy said, "Chloe, you are growing up too fast." I held his cheeks and said, "Ok Daddy, I will take longest as I can."

Chloe's Third Birthday- Down on the Farm!

Chloe wanted a 'Farm Animal' birthday party, so we had her party at Tilden Park's Little Farm. It was chilly at first, but it warmed up later and all the kids had fun feeding the farm animals, seeing baby pigs and a baby cow, and playing together!
